Supporting Women on the Path to ICT Careers

The WIIT Bursary Programme provides financial support to qualifying women pursuing formal qualifications in information and communications technology.
About the Bursary

What the Bursary Covers

Bursaries are awarded subject to the availability of funding and are granted at the sole discretion of the WIIT Bursary Committee. Previous recipients are eligible to reapply and will be assessed on the same criteria as new applicants.

Eligibility

Do You Qualify?

✓ Is a woman

✓ Enrolled in or formally accepted into an accredited ICT-related qualification (degree, diploma, or certificate) at a recognised South African institution

South African citizen or permanent resident

Demonstrates financial need (evidenced through supporting documentation)

Demonstrates academic merit – minimum [TBA]% overall average in most recent academic year

Not currently in receipt of another bursary covering the same expenses for the same study period
